Clients Supported
Windows XP, NT, Windows 2000, Windows 95/98, Windows For Workgroup, DOS, OS2, all Novell clients including 3.X, 4.X, 5.X, Apple Macintosh over AppleTalk, Unix, Linux and all standard Web Browsers.

SMB over TCP/IP, NCP over IPX/SPX, Novell PureIP, HTTP over TCP/IP, FTP over TCP/IP, Unix NFS, Apple AFP.

User Authentication and Security
SuperCD supports both locally defineable user and user group volume permissions or remote master security via either Microsoft NT Primary Controller Domain Security or Novell NDS Security. Remote master security obtains user and user group account information from the respective NT Primary Domain Controller or Novell NDS server.

Disc File Systems
Compatible with both CD and DVD disc formats. ISO 9660, High Sierra, Joliet, (Short 8. 3 File Names and Long File Names), Rock Ridge, Apple HFS, Hybrid (PC and Mac titles) and Multi-session CD/DVD discs.

Network Physical Interface
Auto-sensing 10BaseT and 100Base TX Ethernet interfaces are supported.

Number of Concurrent Users
255 Users can access the SuperCD simultaneously.

Maximum Number of Managed Users
The maximum size of the user account security database that the SuperCD manages is 1,000.

Maximum Number of Volume Sets
The maximum number of "virtual volume" sets that can be used to group together a selection of CD Image volumes is 500. Virtual volume sets are useful for displaying and mapping exclusive sets of volumes to specific user groups.

CD Recording
CD recording is supported on SuperCDR and custom models that integrate a CD Recorder. Uses included SuperCD EazyImage software to record custom CDs or duplicate existing CDs either locally in the SuperCD or over the network.

CD Title Metering
A CD title metering utility is included on the SuperCD that allows you to define a maximum number of concurrent users that are allowed to access a specific CD volume “title”.
