SuperVue Online Demonstrations
Watch a video from an online SuperVue!
See for yourself SuperVue's unparalleled streaming video quality and simplicity.
The following are three examples of real life Internet based applications of the
SuperVue.
1. Axonix SuperVue Demonstration.
This demo provides a snapshot of the SuperVue's Graphical User Interface (GUI).
To prevent tampering with the Administrative interface only the User GUI is provided.
The GUI is not the actual dynamic GUI shipped with the SuperVue but a few static
customized pages that demonstrates how easy it is to create your own custom web
page based GUI with your own look and feel. A copyright cleared VHS video is available
for viewing at different bit rates.

SuperVue Tutorial Questions and Answers
Question: What do I need to watch a SuperVue demo?
Answer: Microsoft's Media Player V6.0 or higher.
A Microsoft Media Player is included at no charge with virtually every Windows operating
system and the Apple Macintosh OS X and OS 9 operating system. If you don't have
Microsoft's MediaPlayer then you can download a copy for free.

Question: What quality SuperVue video can I watch over the Internet?
Answer: Depends on your workstation's available bandwidth and processor speed.
The "quality" of the video that is played or "streamed" from the SuperVue' over
the Internet is determined by two factors, namely:
1. Your available workstation Internet bandwidth.
Most broadband connections support 200Kbps-400Kbps bit rates. Try these bit rates
first. Note that these Internet video qualities are limited by your available Internet
bandwidth. The available bandwidth and associated video quality is typically much
greater when watching videos from the SuperVue running on your Local Area Network.
Click
here to
link to an online workstation bandwidth test if you need help in determining what
bandwidth you have available at your workstation.
2. Your processor speed.
A higher workstation processor speed will allow you to watch higher quality videos.
If you are unsure of your processor and connection speed then first try the 192Kbits/sec.
If you know what your processor and connection speeds are then you can do either
of the following:
Click

to the SuperVue demonstration and select a quality from the demo list or Click Here
for SuperVue Network/Workstation Speed Vs. Quality Table.
Demonstration Video Quality Note
The clip of the Discovery Channel School "Understanding Television" video was encoded
from a VHS tape. Higher quality video encoding is available on the SuperVue including
640X480 at 60 FPS. While higher quality video clips are viewable on higher speed
Local Area Networks, they are not listed on this Web based demonstration system
since their respective bit rates exceed the bandwidth that is available on most
commercial internet connections.
Demonstration User Interface Notes
For security purposes Administrative controls are not accessible on this SuperVue
demonstration. The Demonstration User interface represents a generic Axonix-branded
user interface. You may optionally create your own custom-branded user interfaces
to watch videos. Click on the following link for Frequently Asked Questions about
the SuperVue:

Other Internet Video Demonstration Troubleshooting Notes
Firewall Errors. If you are unable to Watch the demo it could be
due to a a firewall that is setup either on your workstation or on your LAN. Contact
your Network Administrator if you believe that this is the problem. *
Protocol Error. The demo uses either port 1755 running over MMS
UDP or TCP and if not available then defaults to port 80 over an HTTP protocol.
The Macintosh Media Player only supports HTTP. Make sure that your Media Player
has UDP, TCP and HTTP protocols enabled in Media Player's Network section of the
Options tab. *
Media Player Settings. Be sure to view the demo video in a full
