Models
SuperVue is the world's first all-in-one video on-demand server that records, stores
and simultaneously streams hundreds of videos to hundreds of users across your local,
wide area or Internet networks.
SuperVue is available in either a Desktop or Rackmount chassis. The Desktop models
offers an optional VHS/DVD video Deck while the Rackmount additionally offers a
programmable broadcast Tuner and a Gigabit network interface option.
Choose from either 200, 300 or 600 hours* of 700 Mbit per second, NVHS, full screen,
full motion quality video capacity models. In addition to additional storage capacity
the 300 and 600 series offers on average 20% and 40% more processing power respectively
than the 200 series to support the most demanding applications.
*Video Recording Storage Capacity Note: The number of hours of recorded video is
dependant on the selected video quality. Specified capacities are based on a 700
Mbit per second Near VHS (NVHS) video quality which translates to a resolution of
320 X 240 lines and a frame rate of 25 frames per second.
Desktop Models
Desktop models are available with the following option: Deck: VHS/DVD combo video
Deck. A video player for loading VHS videotapes and DVD videodiscs onto the SuperVue.

All Desktop models offer a maximum throughput of 100Mbits per second in sustained
video streaming which supports hundreds of simultaneous full screen, full motion
video streams. You may also attach a camera and watch live video events as they
are being recorded.
The SuperVue 200 Desktop is the affordable solution for applications that require
storing and serving up to 200 hours of NVHS full screen, full motion quality videos.
The SuperVue 300 Desktop is designed with additional processing power and storage
space for applications that require up to 300 hours of NVHS full screen, full motion
videos.
The SuperVue 600 Desktop is our premium performance product line that offers enough
storage space and processing power to deliver up to 600 hours of NVHS full screen,
full motion videos.
If you are looking for a way to quickly and easily recover from a hard drive failure
then the SuperVue 600's dual hard drive design is the way to go. Simply mirror the
videos onto the redundant drive and you have an instantaneous backup in the event
one of the hard drives fails.
All SuperVue models are accessible from any computer that supports Microsoft's Media
Player over either a LAN, WAN or Internet network.
Rackmount Models
The SuperVue Rackmount models integrate the same features as the SuperVue Desktop
models into a rugged 19 inch rackmount chassis. In addition to the Video Deck option
the Rackmount models are also available with a Tuner and Gigabit network interface.
Rackmount models are available with a combination of the following options:
Rackmount Options:
Deck: VHS/DVD combo video Deck. A video player for loading VHS
videotapes and DVD videodiscs onto the SuperVue.
Tuner: An integrated programmable video Tuner that allows you to
schedule automatic recordings and live digital viewings of video shows from multi-channel
broadcast sources such as satellite Television, cable Television, closed circuit
or locally broadcasted (antennae) Television.
Gigabit: Gigabit Ethernet network interface. Supports auto-adjusting
10Mbit/sec., 100Mbit/sec. or 1000Mbit/sec. data rates. The standard physical interface
is RJ45 UTP. A Fiber interface is available on special request.
